In our short history, I can now confidentially say that never before has it been easier to help a Brand Partner reach the critical $100 a month in earnings and then help them to move towards the $500 mark. Why do I say that it’s critical? Because, after studying reams of documents on the Vemma business in 2009, here’s what jumped out at us…when you help someone reach $100, 74% or 3 out of 4 never leave Vemma. There's two magic numbers we discovered in 2009. After analyzing everyone's business for the entire year, what we discovered is that 74% of Brand Partners order every month IF they're earning $100+ a month. The second number that jumped out at us was that 88% of those partners order every month if they're earning $500+ a month.

These two bonuses will also help us towards our goal of reducing your attrition by at least 30%. To qualify for the Momentum Bonus (and everyone is eligible to qualify, both old and new Brand Partners), you'll need to have a 120 point auto delivery and enroll at least 1 Brand Partner on your right and left teams. When you help those partners each create as little as 500 reward points (CV) each month, you will have reached the Bronze leader level and in addition to all the other bonuses you’ll get, you’ll now begin to receive a ¼ share of the momentum bonus pool up to $100 a month. Now I say ‘up to’ because this is a pool. The amount is determined based on sales and how many people qualify for a share. It could be $52, $76 up to $100. That bonus increases UP TO $200 (could be lower for all levels) as you attain the Silver leader level and help those two leaders do what you just accomplished and reach the Bronze level. It jumps UP TO $300 when you reach Gold and help your leaders reach the Silver level and a full share of UP TO $400 when you qualify as a Diamond leader and help your leaders reach the Gold level. Platinums also receive a half share as well, but it stops there as we want to focus these dollars on the newest ranks.

There are a few other details you can read about, but this is a great way to quickly offset the cost of a Brand Partners product as soon as they reach the Bronze leader level. This should be every new partners first goal and this bonus rewards the culture of building two teams.

On Feb. 25th, I'll be releasing all the details on the Momentum Bonus along with the details behind the extremely exciting Builder Bonus. Both of which, I know, will have a hugely positive effect on your business.

Now, to fund the Momentum Bonus, we do have to discontinue the Consistency and Team Bonuses. In this economy, we need to make sure that every bonus dollar invested returns you the greatest rewards. These two bonuses didn't meet that and with the help of your Vemma Elite leaders, we've repositioned these $$ to reward your teams like never before and create a culture at the newest ranks of two team building and profitability.

A tremendous amount of thought, discussion and modeling went into this decision and we never take it lightly to consider any modifications to your compensation. Now, of course I can’t guarantee 100 new people, but what leaders are telling me is that’s exactly what happens when someone attends our annual convention. It’s just that powerful from the time you pick up your registration packet on Thursday to the time you leave on Sunday. I’m telling you, the weekend flies by and you’re filled with this unstoppable energy for success. It’s the perfect way to start 2010, especially considering what 2009 was like for so many people. Everyone needs a fresh start, along with a fresh plan for achieving what we want out of our Vemma business and our life.

You really need to feel great if you've ever purchased a bottle of Vemma NEXT, because when you see these homeless kids that receive the free matching product, you realize just how great a difference you're making in these young lives.

What really struck me as I talked with these kids and found out what they dreamed about becoming when they grow up, is that they're kids just like ours. Same crazy dreams, same excitement about the future, the only difference is they don't have homes. And when I talked with the parents, they were so thankful that someone cared enough about their kids nutritional needs. That someone is YOU, every time you buy a bottle. No one had done that for these kids before and they all knew how important it was for them.

Team, this 'NEXT Helping NOW' project just may be the reason this company was formed 5 years ago, we just didn’t know it then. I’m ‘over the top’ proud that I can be a part of reaching out to these kids and addressing such a critical area as homeless children’s nutrition. I do not forget for one minute that all of this is possible because of you and your efforts. Thanksgiving is a day away and for most of us, this holiday brings about images of turkey, pumpkin pie, family and football. It’s the official start of the holiday season and the biggest shopping weekend of the year. Above all, this day is more than food, football and shopping. It is a day to be grateful for what we value in our lives – our health and our families. My parents always taught us to maintain an attitude of gratitude throughout the year and it will unlock great things for you. After all, attitude is everything!

Next year is the year to make a commitment to focus on the things you want most and see it through to completion to create the greatest year of your life. Instead of waiting for the New Year to make your resolutions - start now - because now is the opportunity to grow with a vision of success. Robert Collier said it best, "Vision. It reaches beyond the thing that is, into the conception of what can be. Imagination gives you the picture. Vision gives you the impulse to make the picture your own."

Remember that in the midst of all the activity of the holiday season, Thanksgiving really is a time for us to reflect on what we’re grateful for – in life, about others and especially about ourselves. This time of year brings out life’s important mile markers and the reasons why we are grateful, no matter how big or small they may be. Take some time on Thanksgiving to focus on what you’re thankful for, the many blessings in your life and the things you appreciate most.

Also, be thankful to the men and women who serve this country and protect our freedom. As you gather around the table for Thanksgiving dinner, think for a moment what it would be like to have some of your family members serving overseas. Say a special prayer for them and thank them for their sacrifice!

Their is such a HUGE list of things to be thanksful for this holiday.

To label each one would be hard if not impossible. I truly think the thing to grasp is to look towards yourself and what you give to others. In doing this thankfulness is knowing your able.

So what do you believe is the biggest part of accomplishment?

Certainly there is the joy and pride of getting it done. Personally I think the most important part is the beginning. Having the idea for doing something, making the commitment, and then actually getting it started. Once you get something started, a lot of the time the excitement will sustain you till the end.

A lot of people never start important things though. They dream about them and talk about them, but they never take that first step. Because they know on a subconscious level that were they to do so, they would feel obligated to finish the project. So they never start.

Instead they are always talking about the book or screenplay they’re going to write, the home they’re going to build, or the diet they’re going to start.

So what accomplishment should you begin today?

The last few days we spoke about appreciating life’s simple pleasures and the not so simple pleasures. But what about all the amazing ordinary things we take for granted?

Do you have any idea how incredible it is that you can hear someone’s voice from 800 miles away over a phone line? Do you realize just how mind-boggling it is that you can watch your favorite sports team score on your cell phone? Do you have any idea how frigging amazing it is that someone can put a piece of paper with images on it into a machine and it can pop out an exact copy on your fax machine? (I still don’t believe this one!)

You can get somewhere in a five hour plane ride that used to take ten years. Do you realize I wrote this blog post sitting in my office in Miami Beach, and you’re reading it a few minutes later wherever in the world you are?

We all take waaay too much for granted. When we begin to appreciate how amazing some of these ordinary daily things really are, it can bring a whole new dimension of prosperity to our life.

So what ordinary things can you appreciate today?

Did I make someone giggle, smile or laugh today?

Did I take the time to really listen to someone today, with rapt attention, as if nothing else mattered in that precious moment but the words they spoke and the look in their eyes?

Did I allow myself to focus on all the blessings in my life today instead of contemplating the things I don't have?

Did I take a moment to imagine what I would like to experience in my life, if for no other reason than in the imagining, is the living, and in the living, comes the joy and delight?

Did I let go today, let go of resentments and unforgivingness that I have been holding onto, all the while realizing that another person may be wounded too and struggling with their own pain?

Did I keep my word today, no matter how simple a promise I may have made, knowing it meant a whole lot to someone else?

Did I make a conscious choice just to be happy today, no matter what is happening in my own life, just for the next moment, and the next moment and the next?

Did I stop caring about what other people think of me, and give myself permission to be who I am regardless of their good opinion of me or not? Did I set myself free today just by doing that?

Was I successful in noticing and appreciating the bounty before me wherever I went or was I just too busy or lost in my own thoughts to notice?

Did I contribute something beautiful to the world today? A new creation of some kind, a poem, a dinner, a dance?

Was I kind today to anyone or anything that crossed my path, no matter how trivial or how monumental? Did I give away my heart?

Is one person richer because of me today, because of my presence on the planet, my essence, my decision to keep on going no matter what?

Did I learn something new today, something about life, something about myself, something about another that I didn't know before?

Did I let go of my attachment to being right today, and open my mind to the possibility of another way, without judgement?

Will someone sleep better tonight because of me? Will they awaken in the morning believing in themselves again, and walk with their head held high?

Was I the answer to someone's prayers today?

If today was to be my last day on the planet, would I feel happy about how I lived it?

Next month marks Vemma's 5th anniversary! I am in shock how fast 5 years can fly by when you're making a positive difference:-) We've all learned a ton over the past 5 years and you've watched this company go from a two bottle (the green labeled Essential Minerals and the purple Mangosteen Plus) you need to mix yourself, to a company with a singular formula encompassing everyone from 2 to 102 years old. I honestly am more excited about what we're accomplishing today than when we started.

With everything we've done and for all the people we've made a positive difference in their lives around the world, I think about the day I get to write my blog celebrating our 10th year in business. Even though the same amount of time has past, the impact will be 10,000 times what it is now. This company is at the 'tipping point' (great book to read!) when more and more people are hearing the great things Vemma can offer the people they care about. Sorry about the length on my video blog this week. Sometimes I just get going and bam, 15 minutes has flown by. I'll try and keep them shorter in the future.

Thanks to all of you that sent in ideas for future blog topics. I got everything from a tour of home office, a behind the scenes on how we make Vemma, to Verve drink recipes. I think I like the last one the best:-) I'll work on coming up with some killer content for you in the upcoming weeks.

This coming week I'm off for a day to the Cleveland Clinic for a Wellness Advisory Board meeting. They've ask me to present the Vemma NEXT product to the board. The bulk of my talk is going to focus not only on the need for a product like this, but mostly about the giving back part. I'm excited about this opportunity to showcase the Vemma brand to a lot of very influential people in the healthcare arena. While I'm there, I'm going to get that executive physical thing done to me. Trust me, don't ask for a video blog on that. I think I need to start a training regime just to get ready for it:-)

On Friday, we're filming some great stuff with Tom Alkazin and Ruth Elliott for a fast start training program we'll be posting in your new back office. What I'm excited about is that your newest member will be able to instantly watch and learn all the basics to getting their new Vemma business into action. We'll cover a ton of topics in the 8 or so video segments.

Finally, a special congratulation goes out to our newest Vemma Elite members, Dr Paul Jernigan and Rex Davis! It’s always an exciting thing to order new black chairs for these champions!

Of course... there's always been the risk that these Masters, once immersed into a sea of limited thinkers, might mistaken their "ordinary" lives as simply ordinary lives, think they're simply one of the herd, and therefore not appreciate their unique perspectives, grasp their mission, or love themselves as they are no matter what others think, and the whole osmosis thing won't work.

I think this is such a cool way to be able to communicate with you, my Brand Partners. I hope you're enjoying the work your Home Office team is cranking out for you. From the new brochures, to the new NEXT brand and especially the websites. The comments that are coming in about how these sites are impacting your business are terrific! I just got the news that our conversion rate (prospects buying v. prospects just visiting) on your web traffic has more than doubled. It's funny, When I first met with Gary Vaynerchuk, he told me he'd double my business and I thought that was a pretty bold statement. He called me yesterday and I had to tell him about the most recent stats. In his words, '(insert cuss word here) I told you so!!'

This is very cool news, but keep in mind we're still working to make your sites even more effective. Most companies would be ecstatic with these results, but we have a few tweaks that the team feels can even improve on this results. Like Anthony Robbins says 'CANI', Constant And Never-ending Improvement. That's what you have partnered with, when you join the Vemma team. A Home Office team that stays up nights thinking how we can help you become more successful.

This team got even better with our newest addition. Brad Wayment is a stud when it comes to marketing. I stole this guy away from a $900 million networking company where he was the Exec VP of Marketing. His title with Vemma is the Exec VP of Brand Development which encompasses the departments of sales, marketing, web, creative and research and development. His first day was Vemma's Super Tuesday - Sept 1st! His head is still spinning as we launched a new web experience for our members, launched the finest children's product in the world with NEXT and I hosted a webinar with Gary Vee. Quite a day for everyone. Brad has hit the ground running and he's a tremendous asset to YOUR future! Watch how even cooler things become around here now that we've got someone that knows exactly how to take Vemma to $900 million:-)

Lastly, I'm glad to hear the feedback on my Vemma Code video. I need to be sensitive to everyone and not have them stop their Vemma promotions, but rather enhance them by following this code. When I said I want you to undersell the benefits of Vemma, I mean it. My dad taught me years ago to 'under-promise and over-deliver'. Trust me, the Vemma brand will over-deliver for you so you need to just let the product do the heavy lifting. If someone has a health challenge, just tell them, 'I don't know if Vemma can help, but if it doesn't, you'll get your money back.' Pretty cool way to do business and you need to understand that less than 2% of our sales come back in returns. What that tells me is 98% of our consumers fall in love with the way Vemma makes them feel.

Alone, each of us can do some things, but together, we can do amazing things. Like helping 100,000 children next year. It's a big goal, but when you think about it, it's just 1,000 of you helping 100 children. Or 10,000 of us helping 10 kids. Together, we CAN do this! And after that, we help 100,000 kids a month.

It's that the natural order to achievement is "Do, Have, Be"...... meaning, we're brought up - and had it hammered into us, actually - that by doing all the right stuff, we'll come to have all the things we want, and then at some point be able to look around us and say "Yes, I've become a success... I've become what I set out to be".

Sorry, but that's just NOT how the Universe works.

Sure, you can probably achieve some measure of what looks like success doing this, but you will NOT have peace of mind... (simply because in this way of thinking, it's almost never clear at what stage of the "having" means you've "become").

No, the REAL order, the CORRECT order to achieving all of your wildest dreams (as well as all the (not so wild) ones, too is...
